Meeting Minutes:
Topic 1: Bargaining update about Club Advisors and Paying Faculty to support Drama and Music Performance
- DuValle expresses desire for a more streamlined process
- The college previously refused to negotiate the club advisor fees
- They claim that they can’t agree to use student contributed fees
- Trevor makes a motion and George seconds it to support the MOU
- This will go to a vote now that we’ve suggested support for it
Topic 2: Board of Trustees Changes
- The BOT meetings will no longer be recorded for people to watch later
- Rebecca Ringer is changing the BOT processes based on her “style”
- Kristine was refused a platform during the last BOT meeting
- A person who wasn’t present was denied a platform
- Kristine has connected with Jack Khan and given feedback about how the BOT is being handled
