About Dues
Since 2018, dues are collected from members who sign up to be part of the Shoreline Community College Federation of Teachers. The faculty union represents all faculty and negotiates towards ideal working conditions for all faculty. Faculty that are not members cannot attend meetings or vote in union matters but are still represented by the faculty union. Dues for members are 1.3% of their SCC income, which are deducted during the payroll process.
